One Tributary Leads to Another… Founded in 2014, Tod Mott and his wife, Galen have fulfilled Tod’s long-held dream of having a brewery of his own. Tod has been a master brewer for over three decades. Most fans know him as New England’s brewing legend, creator of the original recipe of Harpoon IPA, and Portsmouth Brewery’s cult status, Kate the Great Imperial Stout. Ten years later, the family business has expanded to include their son, Woody as head brewer. Together they create an amazing selection of true-to-style beers and lagers including the highly acclaimed Tributary Pale Ale, international style lagers, pilsners, dark ales, and Mott the Lesser Imperial Stout, the heir to Kate the Great.

Back for a second year, BIG BEER SATURDAY at TRIBUTARY is going to feature some, can you guess... some BIG A BEERS: Mott the Lesserer, Double IPA, multiple Barleywines, and perhaps a Mott the Lesser from our cellar. @locococostacos will be in the house with their pop up Taco Bar, and Woody will be poking beers all day!
Saturday March 7th
The Mudpuppies are a dreamy Folk-Americana band from Dover, New Hampshire, led by husband-and-wife duo Katie and Joe Kenny. They perform original music blending acoustic and electric elements, strong harmonies, and arrangements that span from intimate folk to full-band Americana.
Tributary was among the first venues to host The Kenny Brothers Band, a "Mountain-Rock" brotherhood that has been captivating audiences with their folk, blues and unapologetic grooves since 2016. Now, in 2026, they are working on their third album with keyboardist Tim Martin and guitarist Tyler Geis set to release in the summer.

Just do yourself a favor and stop here. The beers are diverse, the people are friendly, and the owners might be some of the best humans to grace this place we call Earth. Seriously, it's the perfect place to try all different types of beers (not just 12 Hazy IPAs) and really get a feel for different styles and brewing techniques. I can't stress enough how much of a hidden gem this place is; a true and authentic beer tasting experience.
Great selection of beers brewed by people who clearly care about beer. Flights are ample, they allow you to order in (menus are available if you ask), and we even had a tour of the brew house. I just wish they shipped to NY.

Great beer, a variety of styles, clean and balanced. The space is simple, modest and comfortable. Brings friends, or make some at the large picnic tables in the tasting room. Growlers available to go!
If you're the adventurous type who likes to try some real different beers this is the place for you. The owner/brewmaster is literally world famous for his skills at brewing many types of really good beer. He also has been called the Godfather of Brewing for his help to others in the business.
