Canadian Pilsner

Inspired by Canadian pilsners we created a pale lager to inaugurate hockey season. This beer presents itself with restrained bitterness, a tinge of sweetness, and a delicate floral aroma that is balanced by the prevalence of biscuit-like malt character that ensures it can be sessioned from when the puck drops until the buzzer ends the game!

Shelter IPA (In-Place)

American wheat IPA has a unique character from a new German hop varietal grown to withstand climate change. Notes of kiwi, grapefruit, tangerine, steely fruit, lemon verbena, curaçao, cantaloupe, and baking bread. This beer won't fight Coronavirus, but will help you attack those house projects, while you stay home and stay safe.

5.8% ABV

Tmavý Ležák

This Czech style dark lager has notes of both malt and hops. For being a great sessionable beer it boasts a full body and is followed by flavors of roasted malts without any acrid bitterness. Slight sweetness from crystal malts add balance. Na zdravi!
3.8% ABV

Dusseldorf Altbier

Our Alt style beer is a session amber ale that is well balanced and drinkable. Its bittersweet flavor profile is encouraged by hops of nobility and German malts of distinction. Smooth and quaffable.
4.6% ABV; 32 IBU

Belgian IPA

This juicy, crisp Belgian Style IPA imparts a bouquet of tropical hop character from the generous use of Azacca and Amarillo hops, and is followed up by a yeast spiciness to create this dank expression. 
7.3% ABV; 52 IBU

Czech Style Pilsner

A straw blond lager with noble hop character and a delicate bouquet derived from American grown Super Saazer hops.
4.5% ABV

Helles Bock

"Hellator" Helles Bock is a traditional light (hell) colored German strong lager. This malt forward beer features Vienna and biscuit malts, and was the style originally dubbed "Liquid Bread" (flussiges Brot) by fasting Monks in Bavaria.
7.2% ABV

Brut IPA

A small IPA, our Brut has a bone dry body with lots of hop flavor utilizing  Cashmere for its melon-like character and Chinook for its citrus character. Lovely light straw color is surrounded by hops and love.
4.9% ABV; 28 IBU

Munster Alt

This golden "old style" ale is made with 30% malted wheat that adds a creamy texture to the crisp sessionable ale. A combination of ale and lager yeast (fermented cooler for ale, but warmer for lager) were employed to give the crisp clean finish.
5% ABV; 24 IBU

Wild Thang

This unique ale incorporates 100#'s of wild rice into the grist profile that adds a nutty complexity. The use of Sterling hops late in the kettle creates a cherry-pit like flavor that is pronounced by the wild rice as no cherries were used in the process.

Mott the Lesser

Russian Imperial Stout: rich, full-bodied, aged partially in an Apple Brandy, Port, Sherry and a Extra Anejo Tequila barrels blended for a vanillan oak character with hints of Chocolate.
10.5% ABV

IPA for ALS

A contemporary, yet bright, golden IPA integrates the ALS hop blend of 6 varietals, most notably Citra, Loral and Mosaic. The use of other experimental hops add candied fruit and citrus aromas.
6.4% ABV; 58 IBU

Hop Harvest

Our wet hop beer is a indigenous Maine pale ale brewed with 80 lbs. of Centennial hops and 30 lbs. of Comet from The Hop Yard (Gorham) and Blue Ox Malt House (Lisbon Falls). The hops add a fruity, ripe melon aroma and vinous character with the perfect malt to hop balance.
6.3% ABV

Oyster Stout

Big roasty sweet stout with the addition of both flaked (quick cooking oats) and malted oats for a soft mouth feel. In addition, Moon Dancer oysters from the Damariscotta River were added to the boil which imparts a beautiful mineral character.
5.6% ABV.

Abbey

A Trappist inspired golden ale. Fruity aromatics with a strong phenolic character. Complex sweetness followed by a dry finish.
8.5% ABV

Pale Ale

A light, refreshing, and crisp ale. Brewed with Nugget, Warrior, & Centennial hops. Dry-hopped with Citra, Warrior, & CTZ hops (Columbus/Tomahawk/Zeus).
5.2% ABV; 26 IBU.

Pumpkin Ale

Brewed with 200 #s of Organic Dickenson pumpkins and delicately spiced with fresh ginger, cinnamon stick, nutmeg and allspice.
5.6% ABV.

Rye Porter

Collaboration brew with Stoneface. This deep garnet black ale has a full mouthfeel and roundness derived from the use of rye and roasted rye malts. No perceived bitterness is apparent due to the spicy nature of the rye.
6.4% ABV

Oktoberfest

A rich, malt forward amber lager with a clean delicate finish. Brewed in the traditional Marzen style and cold lagered for six weeks.
5.2% ABV; 24 IBU

Wee Heavy

This well balanced amber ale is a direct descendent of Barleywines and Old Ale from the U.K. The malt profile incorporates a touch of smoked malt to add a slight complexity to this malt forward strong ale.
8.3% ABV; 30 IBU.

Belgian Tripel

Strong golden Belgian style ale, with a fruity apricot aromatic, a full mouthfeel and a peppery finish.
7.2% ABV.

IPA

Big hop flavor and aromatics from lush Centennial, Chinook and Mosaic help make this a well balanced IPA. Malt backbone rounds out this medium bodied, crisp hop forward ale.
7% ABV; 58 IBU.

IPL

This golden straw colored lager is a hybrid of our favorite styles, the German Lager and the modern American IPA. A house blend of lager yeast strains, pale German malts, and heaps of American hops create a crisp and fruity flavor profile with light, but balanced bitterness. Tasting notes include melon, citrus, juicy tropical fruit, and unique pine. This was brewed in conjunction with the ALS foundation. 
5.8% ABV; 40 IBU.

Wit Bier

This is one of the most refreshing of the Belgian style wheat beers. Brewed with 45% malted wheat and some raw wheat, the color is quite "white" as the name Wit implies. The addition of fruit, both sweet and bitter orange peel, and spices, coriander and pepper, enhance the flavor profile. Crisp and dry this is a truly summer style ale.
4.8% ABV.

ESB

An English Extra Special Bitter that's not bitter! Beautiful crystal malt with a kiss of English and Slovakian hops: Styrian Celeia, Bravo, Fuggle & Magnum.
6.3% ABV.

Baltic Porter

Our deep garnet-red Porter is a hybrid using both lager and ale yeasts. Big, chocolate aromatics and fudge brownie-like flavors culminate in a rich, lingering mouthfeel.
6.4% ABV; 28 IBU.

Winter Saison

A farmhouse style light amber colored ale brewed with two Belgian yeast strains. The phenolic character of these yeasts brings out a peppery content to balance the Belgian candy sweetness and the full body. A big gnarly sippin' ale.
8.9% ABV; 28 IBU.

Imperial IPA

This imperial IPA has a huge hop forward flavor followed by a malt backbone with no real bitterness. Centennial, Azacca, Simcoe and Citra round out the hop profile making a pine-y, pineapple and citrus hop bomb! Big ABV @ 9.1% is easy to sneak up on you... but be careful!
9.1% ABV; 65 IBU.

Kolsch

This is the German expression of Lite Beer without dilution. Light, delicate, and crisp, the Strissel Spalt hops give it a subtle, noble hop aroma.
4.8% ABV

Gose

 Ancient Hefeweizen style beer brewed with a portion of sea water from Brave Boat Harbor, lemon zest and juice, coriander and a light hand with hops make for a super drinkable, tart and briney wheat beer.

5.0% ABV; 12 IBU.

Hefeweizen

German style wheat beer, with clove and banana esters derived from the authentic yeast strain. Crisp light and refreshing a true thirst quencher.
5.1% ABV; 26 IBU.

Ians' Pale Ale

Juicy, bursting with aroma, crisp & refreshing with liberal use of Simcoe.
5.7% ABV; 55 IBU

American Mild

 Light bodied golden 'mild' ale with a medium yet assertive hop character. Maine grown and malted barley, with Maine grown Sterling & Nugget hops. Some call this a session IPA. We call it LITE & CRUSHABLE!
4.0% ABV

Helles Lager

A malt forward golden lager with distinctive hop aroma. The use of German Pilsner malt along with German noble hops give this beer its delicate aroma and flavor.
4.5% ABV; 17 IBU

Biere de Miel

A honey saison, light Amber farmhouse ale made with 70# of wildflower honey. A phenolic Belgian yeast strain fermented at a warmer temp make for a fruity yet spicy dry beer.
7.3% ABV; 29 IBU.

Spring Weizen

A full-bodied amber wheat ale (Hefeweizen) with a zing from our yeast and a pop from the wheat. Spicy and phenolic, this is a complex and bold wheat beer.
6.8% ABV; 28 IBU

Witt 2

Based on a Belgian style wit bier, we've "beefed up" this version for the cold weather. This is a strong, hazy golden wheat beer brewed with sweet and bittery orange peel as well as coriander. It derives much of its spicy/fruity character from the yeast employed.
7.9% ABV; 27 IBU.

Rye IPA

This full bodied IPA derives its spicy flavors from 45% malted rye in the grist profile. The hops used were an experimental dwarf varietal #484, Simcoe and some Mosaic. The 484 adds fruity and cedar character while the Simcoe adds an earthy/piney character, and the Mosaic adds more earthy & fruity floral aromatics.
7.1% ABV; 54 IBU.

Red IPA

A malt forward IPA with Chinook, Cluster and Cascade hops and dry-hopped with Australian hop, Ella, giving it a tropical fruit aroma that balances the malt.
6% ABV.

Olde Ale

 Malt forward with caramel, toffee sweetness followed by delicate hops. This beer was brewed with Chevalier malt, an heirloom barley varietal recently developed by Crisp Malting Group of which 4 metric tons were distributed to only four breweries in the U.S. Deep chestnut color with a garnet hue.
8.5% ABV.

Solstice Saison

Big, strong Belgian style blond ale. Slight fruit phenols with touch of clove and black pepper. Nice dry finish!
8.2% ABV.

Dunkelweizen

Amber wheat beer with a touch of smoked malt that adds a little sweetness to the medium bodied phenolic ale.
5.2% ABV; 26 IBU

California Common

Fruity aromatics followed by a well balanced malt profile with a dynamic hop presence. This light amber lager was brewed in the tradition of San Francisco style "Steam" beer.
5.6% ABV; 32 IBU

Double IPA

Candied citrus peel with a malt backbone, this Double IPA is big and juicy, and spicy.

9.2% ABV; 64 IBU.

Black IPA

A pronounced chocolate flavor plays an assertive role in this obsidian colored IPA. Mosaic, Ella, and Simcoe fill in the middle flavor while Columbus and Magnum play a heavy hand in the bitter compounds of this dark ale.
6.4% ABV; 62 IBU.

Dry Stout

Rich, roasty and medium bodied with a nice dry finish. Black as night.
5.5% ABV.

Mocha Milk Stout

Blended with cacoa nib extract and a cold infused dark roast coffee from Anthony's in York, Maine, our Mocha Milk Stout is dark, rich and silky smooth. Perfect for a cold day, or to pair with a decadent dessert.
6.2% ABV

Belgian Stout

Roasty aromatics along with a mild plum fruitiness is followed by a rich malt-chocolate flavor, and a medium body. Long finish with a pleasant sweetness.
5.5% ABV; 26 IBU.

Coffee Milk Stout

Same vehicle as The milk stout with an infusion of cold extract coffee. Think of the perfect breakfast beer, add a scoop of ice cream and you have the perfect dessert beer!
5.7% ABV.

Italian Pilsner

Our light Italian style Pilsner is brewed entirely with Eraclea winter barley from the province of Veneto (Venice), which is  malted exclusively by Weyermann Maltings in Bamberg, Germany. This authentic lager has some delicate bready notes from the barley and true noble aromatics from Slovenian Celeia hops. The Celeia were only added during the boil and whirlpool. No dry hopping was implemented during the process. Cold fermentation followed by a 5 week cold maturation make this crushable Pils as delicious as its European counter parts.
5% ABV; 32 IBU

Schwarzbier

Well-balanced black lager with slightly toasted malt sweetness and easy-going hop character of Magnum, Saphir, Tettnanger and Sterling hops.
5.9% ABV; 24 IBU.

Wheat IPA

A hoppy, hazy wheat forward IPA, brewed and dry-hopped with Warrior and Cascade hops.
6.5% ABV; 50 IBU.

Saison Xtra

A light golden ale with a peachy, fruit aroma with some clove-like phenols. This Saison has a touch of sweetness to round out the light-medium body with a peppery, dry finish. Pale malt, Belgian yeast, Sterling & Warrior hops. Warm fermentation.
7.5% ABV; 32 IBU.

Biere de Garde

Medium bodied farmhouse ale.  Upfront malt flavor with a subdued hop character. Hops: Styrian Goldings & Warrior for bittering.  
6.9% ABV.

Grand Cru

Our 2019 version of a strong golden ale was brewed in the tradition of the Belgian Tripels. A short residencey in charred Vermont Barrels adds another dimension to this malty and fruity beer. Tannic and vanillin character along with herbs and spices dominate the aromatics of the influential yeast strainsused to produce this assertive, yet delicate ale.
9% ABV; 28 IBU.

Blueberry Ale

This Pale Ale based "fruit" beer is brewed with 210 lbs. of IQF wild blueberries and 42 lbs. aseptic blueberry puree. The result is a light pink hue derived from the skins of the fruit, and a light blueberry flavor. No artificial anything in this fine ale.
